Crux Survivors Series

Post-Apocalyptic Romance Series

Erotic Romance (Some menage, some not.)

I love, love, love this series by Dani Worth. It’s real post-apocalyptic goodness. Just picture Walking Dead with all the great character development and gripping survival stories but without the zombies.Fun full 5 star review here.

Listed in order, but here’s a quick glimpse:

After the Crux (m/m/f) novella
Free short story Silence and Ghosts (Features Ross, Dorian and Jenna.) (Warning: I was WAY too excited when I sent this out and didn’t let it sit for a time for an edit. Could have used a polish-but Ross and Dorian scorch things up enough to hopefully overshadow that.)
Sole Survivors (m/f) category romance length

In a lonely, plague-devastated world, it is definitely not every man for himself.

Crux Survivors, Book 1

Seventeen years after the Crux Virus wiped out most of the world’s population, Ross is doing what he can to keep his small community safe from raiders in a self-contained artist retreat in the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico. He’s made a habit of collecting survivors and they’ve all become family, but the most important members have always been Jenna and Dorian.

At fourteen, Ross stumbled into the basement where the nine-year-olds were hiding and the three have been together ever since. Years later, Jenna and Dorian became lovers. Now, at thirty, Ross hopes to find a love of his own on supply runs, but he suffers incredible guilt because his heart has long been snagged by his two best friends.

Alone with his tangled emotions, Ross is about to discover that his friends have their own ideas about their relationship…and how it is about to change.

Product Warnings

An unfortunate stabbing leads to fortunate liaisons, including M/F/M, M/M, M/F…and whatever else these apocalyptic survivors can do with each other during those long winter months in the snowy mountains.

In a harsh new world, only she can bring him to life…

Sole Survivors, Crux Survivors, Book 2

Chase Hawthorne is on the run from a ghost. The shooting that took his little sister and scarred Chase’s face and body has left far deeper scars on his brother Tripp’s soul. Driven to pull up stakes and head for the most haunted place in Louisiana, Chase hopes to prove to Tripp there is no ghost of his twin beckoning from the afterlife.

When he comes upon a young woman fighting off raiders, Chase doesn’t hesitate to help the first female he’s seen in years. And he tries to ignore his instant attraction, hoping Tripp will feel it, too—and emerge from his frightening depression.

Keera has been alone too long, and Chase makes her feel things she never thought she’d feel again. Tripp may be the needier brother, but it’s Chase she wants. Scars and all.

But letting people too close comes with risks. And as they are drawn into the search for a young man’s family, both must accept the possibility that there’s more to life—and love—than simple survival.

Warning: A hero who puts his own needs aside for family. And a woman who’s out to prove there’s no law against a man listening to his body once in a while.

In the A Reviews at Bookpushers! “I have been addicted to Worth’s writing since I first discovered her Kithran Regenesis series. When I found out she was starting a new post apocalyptic series I had to give it a try. When I finished reading the first installment, After the Crux, I had to ask if she was going to continue writing in this world. When she said yes, I waited rather impatiently for what would come next. I am pleased to say that I was not disappointed by my wait.” See full A- review at Bookpushers here.

From Goodreads: “This is the second book in Dani Worth’s sexy, post-apocalyptic world, and I know a lot of people hear that phrase ‘post apocalyptic’ and go “Uh, no.” But for me it’s total “Yes, Please!”See the fun full 4 star review by Marissa here.

  1. Love love love your crux series. Have been dying to read the next one. Please tell me that it will be soon?Oh, and also the kithra series too. Please, please, pretty please!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, your fan,

    1. Hi Ellen! I love hearing that someone is enjoying these books. I just love writing them. I wish I had better news for you. This publisher is shutting down, so both of these series are in a sort of holding period until I know what’s going to happen. I do want to finish them and have jumped into some other projects so that hopefully, I can afford to put more out myself at some point. I also write under my name, Rinda Elliott. If you like MM romantic suspense, I’m currently co-authoring a series with author, Jocelynn Drake. But I really do hope to return to Kithra and Crux. 🙂

  2. Hi Margaret. No update yet. I’m working hard on another series and hoping to build that up to the point I can put more Crux Survivors books out on my own. I’m sorry to just leave fans of these books hanging–I love the world myself. I am glad you enjoyed the first two volumes!

    1. Thank you — ::sigh:: patience is a virtue, I guess? someone kept telling me that… hopefully contractual stuff won’t prevent furtherance of the series in the long run.

    1. Hi Ellen, glad you love these series. I recently got the rights back on them and am currently trying to get them covers and back up on Amazon. They’ll be under my name and not my pen name this time. Rinda Elliott. If they pick up an audience–and I hope they do!–I plan to finish them because I love them. I’m currently writing an MM romantic suspense series with my co-author, Jocelynn Drake, called Unbreakable Bonds. 🙂
